Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a Car Wash and a Detail?

A car wash is just that. Car soap, water, wash mitt, 15 minutes and you're done. The other option is a drive thru car wash, which is not the best way to care for the paint of a vehicle. After several times driving through you are left with small circular scratches and a dull finish. Detailing is bringing the vehicle as close to brand new as it can get. Usually the detailing process takes hours rather than minutes.

Do I need to make an appointment?

We do offer some services that can be accomplished on a walk-in basis, but many of our more involved packages require an appointment to ensure each vehicle is getting the attention to detail promised.

How long does a Detailing take

Much of this depends on the size, condition, and service selected. A Custom Wash & Wax Detail can take 1-2 hours, while our Ultimate & Elite Details require between 5-7 hours. A drop box is also available if you need to drop off your vehicle the night before your service.

Is there a place where I can wait?

We provide a very comfortable waiting area that offers, WIFI, satellite TV, and working space. We do have access to a local shuttle service that can run home or back to the office. The area is limited, and it would be best to call ahead to make sure we can get you where you need to go.

Are there any restaurants or stores nearby?

We are located next to Thompsons Toyota, near In-N-Out Burger as well as several retail stores on Forni Road.

How long does the Headlight Lens Restoration last?

The process takes approximately 1 hour to complete and you should expect the results to last as long as it took the lenses to become yellowed, fogged or scratched.

How do I prepare my car for Detailing?

We would prefer you have all personal belongings removed to ensure thorough quality work. Ultimate Interior and Elite Details both include cleaning of the glove box, console, and trunk area.

What is Paintless Dent Repair?

PDR is the removal of minor dents and door dings and is performed by our trained technician using special tools and technique. An estimate is given prior to an appointment and is based on difficulty and size of the repair.

How long will the Shrink Wrap last on my Boat or RV?

This depends on the weather and the location where it is stored. Generally, a Shrink Wrap is removed after the winter season when your boat or RV is ready to be used.

Why should I repair the Rock Chip in my windshield?

Replacing your windshield can be very costly. Rock chips no larger than a quarter can usually be repaired and made virtually invisible. Repair is $50 and $10 per each additional chip.
